Updates
The desktop app keeps itself up to date. It asks before it installs a new version, now or the next time you open it, and you can check by hand.
For Desktop app · Windows, macOS, Linux · Updated
The app looks for a new version a few seconds after it starts. It never installs one without asking.
When a new version is out
"New update available" shows the new version, the one you have, and what's new. Pick one:
| Button | What happens |
|---|---|
| Install now | Downloads the update, checks it, installs it and restarts MC Planner. |
| Install on next launch | Installs it the next time you open the app, without asking again. |
| Cancel | Nothing. The app asks again at the next start. |
Your plans are saved as you go, so a restart loses nothing.
On Windows, the app closes, a small installer window runs, and MC Planner opens again by itself. No questions, no admin rights.
