Find your way with the HUD
The MC Planner HUD shows which plan is on, where you're heading and what you're standing in. Navigation leads you to any object with a line, a beam and an arrow.

The HUD
A small panel in the top left corner (you can move it). It has up to three lines:
| Line | What it says |
|---|---|
● Spawn Town live | The plan that's shown, and its state (below). "· hidden" when the overlay is off. |
↗ Town hall 120 m NE | Where you're navigating to: an arrow from where you look, the distance and the direction. |
◆ Market square Area · In progress | The object you're standing in, with its status. |
The state of the plan:
| State | Means |
|---|---|
| live | A shared world, up to date. The mod asks for changes every 10 seconds. |
| saved copy | The last copy the mod saved, shown while it loads the newest one. |
| file | A plan file from your computer. |
| offline | The plan can't be loaded right now: no internet, or the server didn't answer. You still see the last saved copy, if there is one, and the mod keeps trying. The menu (J) shows why under the plan. |
The HUD hides with F1 like the rest of the game's HUD, and while the debug screen (F3) is open. Move it or switch it off: Display… → HUD corner and HUD.
Navigate to something
Pick where to go
Press J, click the object in the list, then Navigate here. Or type /mcplanner goto and the name (Tab completes it).
Follow the line
A guide line runs from your feet towards it, and a tall beam marks it, both visible through walls. The target is drawn solid, with wider lines. The HUD shows the arrow and the distance.
Arrive
Step into it, or within about two blocks, and an "Arrived" message ends the navigation.
- Stop early: Stop navigating on the object's screen, or
/mcplanner stop. - The next unfinished thing: set a key for Navigate to the nearest unfinished object in Options → Controls → Key Binds → MC Planner. It picks the nearest object that isn't done. Nothing left: "Nothing left to build nearby".
- In another dimension: the HUD says "in the Nether" (or wherever it is) instead of a distance.
The object screen
Click any object in the menu's list to see:
- its kind, status and the summary line from the app (sizes, blocks);
- Where it is (coordinates) and the Distance from you, with the direction;
- its Material, Schematic, Group, who made it (By) and when it Changed;
- its Notes.
Buttons: Navigate here / Stop navigating, Open source link (when it has one), the four statuses (Statuses and markers) and Back.
