Coming to Modrinth soonComing soon
The mod is coming to Modrinth. Until it's there, the steps below show where it goes. The file is called mcplanner-<version>+mc26.2.jar.
Modrinth App
The easiest way: the Modrinth App installs Fabric and the mod's dependencies for you.
Make a Fabric profile
Create a profile for Minecraft 26.2 with the Fabric loader. Already have one? Use it.
Install MC Planner
Search for MC Planner and install it into that profile. Fabric API is required, so it comes along. If your profile doesn't have it, install Fabric API the same way.
Play
Start the profile. Then check that it works.
Official launcher with Fabric
Install Fabric Loader
Download the Fabric installer from fabricmc.net, choose Minecraft 26.2 and install. The launcher gets a new fabric-loader profile for 26.2.
Put the mods in
Download Fabric API and MC Planner for 26.2 from Modrinth and put both .jar files into the mods folder (make it if it isn't there):
- Windows:
%APPDATA%\.minecraft\mods - macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods - Linux:
~/.minecraft/mods
Play
Start the Fabric profile in the launcher. Then check that it works.
Prism Launcher or MultiMC
Make a 26.2 instance with Fabric
Create an instance for Minecraft 26.2. In its Edit window, under Version, install the Fabric loader.
Add the mods
Under Mods, add Fabric API and MC Planner. Prism Launcher can download both from Modrinth for you. In MultiMC, add the two .jar files you downloaded.
Play
Launch the instance. Then check that it works.
CurseForge app
MC Planner isn't on CurseForge (yet), so it goes in by hand:
Make a custom profile
Create a custom profile for Minecraft 26.2 with Fabric.
Put the mods in
Add Fabric API to the profile. Then open the profile's folder and put the MC Planner .jar from Modrinth into its mods folder.
Play
Start the profile. Then check that it works.
Check that it works
- In a world, press J. The MC Planner menu opens.
- In Options → Controls → Key Binds, the keys have their own MC Planner group.
- With Mod Menu, MC Planner is in the mod list, and Configure opens the same menu.
