The demo island
Try MC Planner without Minecraft or a world of your own. The demo island is a small made-up island with an example village plan, and it stays on your computer.
For App · browser and desktop · Updated
No Minecraft on this computer, or no world at hand? The demo island lets you try every planning tool right away.
What it is
- A small island that MC Planner makes up itself. It isn't a Minecraft world, and nothing from Minecraft is used for it.
- It shows in map colours: the terrain in flat colours, without block textures.
- It comes with an example village plan: the Main road, the Market square, the Town hall, the Smithy, the Bakery, a few houses, the Wheat fields, the Harbour pier and a marker, Castle on the hill.
Open it
- On the first card: Try the demo island.
- On the textures or world step: No Minecraft on this computer? Try the demo island or No Minecraft world at hand? Try the demo island.
The bar at the bottom says "Demo island · map colours · stays on this computer".
Try things
Every tool works: draw paths, areas, buildings and markers, fill an area with a layout, open a pinboard, change statuses. Your changes are kept in this browser, so the island looks the same the next time.
Good first steps: Your first plan in 10 minutes, from "Draw a road".
What it can't do
- Planning together: the demo island stays on this computer. Open your own world to plan together.
- Your own textures: it always shows map colours, even when your game file is loaded.
Leave it
Close it with ✕ at the top right. Then open your own world: Bring your blocks and Open your world. Coming back to the island later: Welcome back. → Continue planning → Demo island.
