Pick a world or a plan file
Choose what the mod shows in this save or on this server, one of your shared worlds or a .mcplan plan file. It remembers your choice.
For Mod 0.2.0 · Minecraft 26.2 · Fabric · Updated
The mod shows one plan at a time: a shared world from MC Planner, or a plan file. You pick it once per save or server.
Open "Choose a plan"
Press J. Next to Plan, press Choose… (or Change… when one is shown). After you sign in, this screen opens by itself.
Pick one
Click a shared world or a plan file. Show next to it means it isn't shown yet, shown means it is. The screen closes and the plan loads: "Plan loaded" with the number of objects.
Shared worlds
Under Shared worlds are the worlds you plan in, from app.mc-planner.com: your own and the ones you were invited to. Each line says your role (Owner, Co-owner, Editor or Viewer) and, for friends' worlds, whose world it is.
- None there yet? Share a world in MC Planner (Collaborate at the top right → Go live → Share world), or join one with an invite link.
- Owners, co-owners and editors can set statuses and add markers from the game. Viewers can only look.
Paused worlds
A shared world pauses when its owner's plan ends. In the mod it's listed as Paused — the owner's plan ended, and nothing is drawn until the owner renews: no overlay, no HUD.
- It's your world? The mod says Renew in the app: pick a plan there (See plans), and the world comes back. Does your new plan keep fewer worlds live than you have? The app asks you to Choose which stay live. Plan needed.
- It's a friend's world? Only the owner can renew it. Nothing is lost while it's paused.
Plan files
Under Plan files are the .mcplan files (and older .json exports) the mod found on your computer:
- in
Documents\MC Planner, where the desktop app saves with Ctrl+S; - in this Minecraft profile's
mcplanner/plansfolder. Open folder opens it.
In the browser, Ctrl+S downloads the file: drop it onto the Choose a plan screen, and the mod copies it to mcplanner/plans and opens it.
- Plan files need your own plan. Without one, the mod shows Plan files need an MC Planner plan, with Start 7 days free, See plans and Sign in. Plan needed.
- A plan file reloads by itself when the app saves it again.
- Plan files are read-only in Minecraft. Change them in MC Planner.

It remembers
The mod remembers your choice for each save and each server. The next time you join, the plan is there.
Nothing picked yet for this save? If one of your shared worlds has the same name as the save (or server), the mod picks it by itself.
