Get MC Planner for Windows, macOS or Linux from the download page, and get past the warning about an unknown publisher the first time you open it.

Install MC Planner once. Then it finds your game files and worlds by itself.

Open the download page. It offers the newest version for your computer.
Install it
- Windows: run the setup file. It installs for you only. No admin rights needed.
- macOS: open the
.dmgand drag MC Planner to Applications. - Linux: make the AppImage executable and run it, or install the
.deb.
Open it
MC Planner opens with the setup. It lists the game versions it found under "Found on this computer": Worlds and game files.
"Unknown publisher" warnings
The app isn't code-signed yet. So the first time you open it, your computer may warn you. That's expected.
- Windows: SmartScreen warns about an unknown publisher. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
- macOS: macOS says it can't check the app. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
You do this when you install it. Updates come through the app itself: Updates.
Only from the download page
Get the app only from the download page. Every update is signed, and the app checks that before it installs one.
What's the same as in the browser
It's the same planner. Plans, shortcuts and invite links work the same way. The differences: Browser or desktop app.
- Signing in works with the same email code: Sign in.
- Payment and Invoices & card open in your web browser. The app shows "Finish paying in your browser" and switches your plan on by itself once you've paid.
- Invite links always open the website, so friends need nothing installed. Got one? Paste it into "Got an invite link? Paste it here" and press Join.
