Statuses and markers from the game
Tick things off while you build. Set an object's status or drop a marker in Minecraft, and everyone in the app sees it at once.
For Mod 0.2.0 · Minecraft 26.2 · Fabric · Updated
Built the smithy? Mark it Done right there. Found a good spot for a farm? Drop a marker. Your friends see it in the app at once.
Plan files are read-only in Minecraft. Change them in MC Planner.
Set a status
Open the object
Press J and click the object in the list.
Pick the status
Press Idea, Planned, In progress or Done. The current one has a dot. "Saved: Done", and a "Status changed" message, mean it's in the plan.
Faster, with the chat: stand inside the object (or navigate to it) and type /mcplanner status done. The words are idea, planned, in_progress and done.
Add a marker
Stand on the spot
The marker goes where you stand, at your feet, in this dimension. The screen shows its coordinates.
Name it
Press J → + Marker here, type a name (like "Storage room") and press Enter or Add marker. Without a name it's called "Marker".
Or type /mcplanner marker Storage room in the chat. You can also set a key for Add a marker here in Options → Controls → Key Binds → MC Planner.
New markers are Planned, in the world's marker colour, with your name as the author. Names can be up to 100 characters.
Can't change anything?
The buttons are greyed out, and their tooltip says why:
- "You're a viewer in this world. You can only look." Ask the owner to make you an editor.
- "Plan files are read-only in Minecraft. Change them in MC Planner."
- "Sign in to change the plan." See Sign in with a code.
- "Sign in again to allow changes." Sign out and in again.
Too many changes in a row? Wait a minute and try again.
